By Robbie Pangilinan

Konektado (www.konektado.com), a movement that aims to bridge gaps in the world through hiphop music, organizes the Konektado Celebrity Pusoy Dos Tournament, the first event that turns a Pinoy classic card game into a tournament among musicians, actors, athletes, rappers, journalists and many more.

On May 29, Konektado brings together celebrities like actor KC Montero, PBA cager Alex Crisano, Ken Johns, Chelo, Q York, Sinag Band, Just Rye of U 92, Paloma Esmeria, Denmark, Mista Blaze, Jay Washington, TV host Michelle Van Ruyven, Action star Ace Espinosa among others in an original event that aims to bridge various genres of artistry in one vicinity.

Mike Swift, founder of Konektado and the first Filipino in the USA to own a record label, said that this event has been making a buzz in the music industry. “Konektado events have ‘One Love and Good Vibes’ and our purpose for this Pusoy Dos tournament is to bring better communication among people preaching love and sharing,” said Swift, who was born in the Philippines but grew up in New York City and has made a name in the US music industry.

The event takes place at B SIDES in Maluhay Street, Makati City with performances by Sinag, Jonan Aguilar with Anak Band, O.N.E. Ken Johns and Chelo of the Philippine All Stars. #
