Tessa Prieto-Valdes ‘retouches’ face

By Robbie Pangilinan

Socialite-philanthropist Tessa Prieto-Valdes retouches her lovely face via the Revalift of Contours Advanced Face and Body Sculpting Institute. Tessa, whose age falls within the target of this advanced cosmetic technology, is also the new face of Contours.

Dr. Claudine Roura, owner of Contours and pioneer of the VASER® Lipo System in the Philippines, says that the Revalift is for men and women in their mid-30’s to early 50’s who are starting to show signs of aging like wrinkles, deep lines, sagging, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and sagging neck. The procedure is non-surgical and is done every two weeks for five sessions. Yearly treatments are recommended for maintenance.

Tessa will feel immediate lifting and tightening of the skin after the procedure as it is effective in stimulating collagen formation and delaying the signs of aging. The procedure, developed by a Japanese doctor, has its machine manufactured in Korea, making it especially designed for Asian skin. It is a comfortable, outpatient procedure with no downtime and no risks, according to Dr. Roura.

“Revalift uses the Anti-lax machine, with a face handpiece and a body handpiece. For the face, bipolar radiofrequency waves are used to contract existing old collagen fibers and infrared waves to deliver deep heat and stimulate new collagen formation. The body handpiece uses monopolar radiofrequency with a cool tip and intelligent temperature control. It delivers deep heat to melt fats and firm up the skin,” Dr. Roura further explains.

Even though Tessa appears to already possess a flawless face, Dr. Roura wants to enhance it with Contours’ advanced technology. “She needs an e-lite treatment for her freckles and facial veins, and the silkpeel treatment to deliver cosmeceuticals deep into her skin to treat fine line and wrinkles, pigmentation, and to improve hydration of her skin,” Dr. Roura says.

The Revalift is seen to further highlight Contours’ reputation as an advanced face and body sculpting institute that develops more effective methods in skin care and aesthetics. Dr. Roura believes that the Revalift will soon be an integral part of skin care. #
